Starting in 2019, Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) immediately closed ranks. The steps taken are not only limited to evaluating the achievements of 2018. But also strengthening the commitment to make this year the foundation year for the reputable international university program. This was emphasized by the Chancellor of Undiksha, Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd., in a meeting, Wednesday (2/1).
In this policy, a series of programs have been installed that must be realized. This includes developing a curriculum based on KKNI with international recognition, increasing the quality and quantity of international research, international replication, and international conferences. Apart from that, there is also the development of internationally standardized infrastructure, strengthening democratic, humanist, and collaborative higher education governance based on ubiquitous services with the use of modern information technology.
Strengthening and improving the quality of Human Resources (HR), both staff and lecturers, is also a focus. All of them are encouraged to have international recognition. Likewise for student achievement. “Regular students from abroad also need to be increased. “Likewise with cooperation and accreditation of study programs,” said Jampel.
The evaluation and targets set are none other than a way to realize Undiksha’s vision as a superior university based on the Tri Hita Karana philosophy in Asia by 2045. “Making this happen requires the cooperation of the entire academic community. “Quality must continue to be improved,” he added.
