Singaraja- The formation of Candidates for Civil Servants (CPNS) and Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) for 2019 recruitment began to be discussed by the leadership of the Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) in a meeting, on Thursday (23/5/2019). According to the plan, recruitment was carried out for lecturers and educational staff or staff.
Undiksha Chancellor, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd., explained that the procurement of lecturers for a number of study programs in universities with eight faculties still needs to be done. This is to improve the quality of learning. However, in CPNS recruitment, it is desirable to have a doctoral education qualification (S-3). “This way, you will be able to prepare yourself to become a professor more quickly,” he explained.
Currently, plans are being made to establish a Vocational Faculty at Undiksha. In terms of lecturers, the chancellor from Nusa Dua, Badung Regency also wants it to be mapped and also proposed for CPNS recruitment. “The expected lecturers are specifically applied ones. “If this can be fulfilled, it can support the revitalization of LPTK,” he said.
Meanwhile, Undiksha Deputy Chancellor II, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd., said that for the purposes of filling PPPK positions, efforts will be made to accommodate existing contract employees as optimally as possible, as long as their educational qualifications and length of service meet the requirements. Meanwhile, regarding the procurement time, according to the information obtained, it is possible that recruitment will take place in August 2019. Due to this, proposals for the formation and educational qualifications must be prepared before that, including for PPPK. “No later than the third week of June, the proposal will be submitted to Jakarta. “We expect data from the faculty, how many are needed, to be available by the end of May,” he stressed.
